Sometimes the only time you have to record is whole driving to work... And that's exactly what the Worst Adults have been doing. Every so often we try recording our morning conversations in the hopes that something in them would be funny. We were never sure these episodes would see the light of day... Until this week when we needed then. So we hope this experiment works... Because we'll be releasing a few of them throughout this week.
Join us again Wednesday and Friday for new episodes of The Morning Drive!
As always, we'd like to thank Laura Cooper, Bensound.com, and you the listener. We hope you enjoy this slight detour of an episode.
It's the most referenced movie on our show. It's arguably M. Night Shyamalan's best film. It's the quietest superhero movie of all time. And it was about time we got around to talking through this 2000 classic. So get the DVD off the shelf, get comfy, and watch a movie with your best podcasting buddies!
For your convenience, pause the movie right as the lightning bolt illuminates in the Touchstone logo, pause this episode at 3:13, and then hit play simultaneously on both.
If there's a movie you'd like us to commentate, let us know!
As always, we'd like to thank Laura Cooper of the webcomic XP for our show's art, Bensound.com for our outro music, and you the listener for sticking with us! If you like what you hear, consider subscribing and rating on iTunes, sharing our sampler, or becoming a TWAIkNtributor at patreon.com/theworstadults!
Adam was jet-setting around the world, leaving the door wide open for a survey crew to sweep in and interrogate our listeners... starting with you! So so don't get too comfy!
Coincidentally, this would also make a pretty decent sampler... If you know anybody who doesn't listen and hasn't heard our first or second samplers, maybe they'd dig some fresher goofs? Summer is coming... and with it endless free time! Either way, feel free to post it all over your social networking pages and talk it up real good at work. We need all the attention we can get.
Grab some cake and strap on your pointy hat because it's Matthew and Adam's Birth...month...
This week The Worst Adults dig deep to find some of the things that make birthdays great (or possibly terrible) and throw a heck of a party with their listeners (including the traditional birthing couch, a fist full of birthday memories, and a show down for supremacy between a clown and a magician)!
But it's not ALL about the guys this week. We're also celebrating Mother's Day with some very special guest callers. All this and more await you with this week's episode of The Worst Adults I Know!
As always we'd like to thank Laura Cooper of the webcomic XP for our show's art, Bensound.com for our outro music, everyone who contributed to this episode, and you the listener for sticking with us! If you like what you hear, consider subscribing and rating on iTunes, sharing our sampler, or becoming a TWAIkNtributor at patreon.com/theworstadults!
It's a bird! It's a plane! No! Don't be stupid; it's The Worst Adults I Know!
The self-proclaimed dynamic duo of podcasting are at it again! Swinging into action to do battle with their arch nemesis, the vile Attention Span! In their valiant effort to discuss comic books and where they stand in today's society, they hone in on such marvels as all these Super vs. Super movies, bumper stickers, Matthew's love/hate relationship with comic book shops (and humanity!), Hi-C, their recent reads, the differences between Marvel and DC, and more! It's an epic hour worthy of Stan Lee*!
